DECADENT (&healthy!) DESSERT “PIZZA”

Heyyyyy lovelies! Valentines Day is upon us and we all know what valentines day is about- the sweets, the chocolates, the fancy FOODS!! ….and your loved ones of course! So obviously I had to make something delicious this week to kick start my week of sweet treats, even though honestly I have a sweet tooth most of the time anyways.

That`s where this *literally melt in your mouth DESSERT pizza comes in! First off, let me tell you guys what this thing DOES NOT contain just to show you how not bad at all it is for you!

  • No Soy
  • No Nuts
  • No Dairy
  • No Wheat/ Gluten
  • No Nonsense!

So yeah, EAT up! I`m kidding, eat what your heart desires, but listen to your tummy first just to be sure you have them portions under control.

This is recipe has a chocolate-y, smooth, creamy coconut whipped cream on it topped with tart strawberries and drizzled with dairy free dark chocolate. I still cannot decide what my favorite part is but the crust is coming in pretty close with the coco whip. It isn`t just a plain, chewy, average pizza crust. This has a flaky, buttery (with no butter!) crust that has a nice texture to it without being too doughy.

This is so easy and simple toย whip up and it is definitely a crowd pleaser! Or friends and family pleaser in my case ๐Ÿ™‚ Another great part is that if strawberries aren`t your thing- no worries bananas, kiwis, oranges, crushed peanuts, and so much more would all taste delicious with the coco whip.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
HOW TO-

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F. Lay down any type of flour on a hard surface to prevent the dough from sticking and roll out dough into a circle shape, a little thicker than 1/2 inch. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until the edge are slightly browned. Let completely cool on a cooling rack.

For the coconut whipped topping, take about 1/2 cup of the hardened cream from the top of the coconut milk can and place in a bowl. Add the maple syrup, vanilla and cocoa powder and use a hand mixer to beat until it becomes whipped and fluffy! This amount gives a thinner layer on top but double the recipe if you want more topping.

Next, spread the coconut whip all over the crust. Melt down the dark chocolate chips with a little of the leftover coconut milk and then spread around the coconut whip, slightly mixing the two. Let this sit in the fridge to firm up for about ten minutes and then take out, top with the strawbs, add the drizzle* and you are good to go! This is best kept in the fridge! Enjoy!

*For easy drizzling, add the melted chocolate into a plastic ziplock bag and cut the tip for a makeshift pipping bag!
